Soonwell Ion-Ace
 The Ion-Ace by Soonwell features the latest in air purification technology – high negative ion output combined with HEPA standard filtration. The result is fresh, invigorating air stripped of pollutants, bacteria, chemicals and odours- down to an amazing 0.3 of a micron – now that’s really mountain fresh!
This creates a healthier indoor environment, eliminating "Sick Building Syndrome" by neutralising indoor contaminants. The air becomes crisp and fresh, making the Ion Ace ideal for everyone, especially sufferers of asthma, sinusitis, hay fever, allergies and general respiratory complaints.
The Ion-Ace is the ideal air purifier for homes, offices, and salons. It will effectively cover up to 60sqm, and offers three speeds for maximum efficiency. It will remove all forms of particulate pollution from the air, down to a tiny 0.3 of a micron. Considering that a human hair is 70-100 microns, you can see how microscopic that is! This professional machine features a high capacity fan, state of the art filter and high output negative ioniser. The unique four-layer filter system incorporates an electrostatic membrane, which attracts the smallest particle like a magnet plus an activated carbon filter to remove odours.
How does it work?
Negative ion emitters flood the area with charged atoms, which combine with any other molecules in the air such as, dust, pollens, odours, residues, smoke etc. These particles become heavier and are easily sucked into a four layer filtration system, comprising:
- Electrostatic filter
- Activated charcoal
- Spun-bond collector
- Fine-screen lint filter
- Optional 5th layer Pre-filter – this filter is an optional extra and acts to collect the heavier particulate adding an extra layer of filtration and extending the life of the main filter. It is washable and reusable.
- Optional 6th layer Odourstop Pre-Filter – this Pre-Filter addition adds additional activated activated carbon for increased adsorption of gases, odours, chemicals, tobacco and wood smoke residues. For removal of problematic airborne chemicals, gases and odours.

How effective are the filters? The Ion Ace features the latest in air purification technology - high negative ion emission combined with HEPA standard filtration. HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arrester) refers to a universal standard of filtration which is 99.7% particle removal down to 0.3 micron, (considering a human hair is between 70 to 100 microns you can see how tiny that is!).
The Ion Ace is one of the only air purifiers currently on the market to offer TWO HEPA VARIATIONS:
Standard HEPA Filters |
These filters effectively capture particulate down to 0.3 micron.
In the average home they will last 5-6 months, and are NOT washable or reusable as they are multi-layered, sealed units comprising special electrostatic surfaces.

Anti-Bacterial HEPA Filters |
These filters comprise the same construction as the standard filters, and also contain a formula which destroys on contact 99.9% of airborne pathogens, including bacteria & viruses. This not only effectively removes these nasties from the air (and thus our breathing zones), it also puts a stop to their breeding within the filter medium itself. An absolute must for the winter months, or for the immune compromised.

Pre-filter This optional layer collects heavier particulate
adding extra filtration and (with regular maintenance) will extend main HEPA filter life. This filter is washable and reusable.
Maintenance directions are as follows:
- Remove front panel from machine
- Place Pre-filter directly inside front panel
- Fit Pre-filter hole over extending lug
- Replace front panel securely
- Regularly wash (using hot soapy water) or vacuum Pre-filter to remove particulate build-up.
- DRY PRE-FILTER COMPLETELY BEFORE REPLACING IN UNIT.

Odourstop Pre-Filter Kit This Pre-Filter addition adds additional activated carbon for increased adsorption of gases, odours, chemicals, tobacco and wood smoke residues. For removal of problematic airborne chemicals, gases and odours.
This Pre-Filter is not re-usable or washable, and will require replacement every 6-8 months.
